Earth Atlas - The Continent of Yhtill

Description

This is a map of the lands that Lord Dunsany's first two works, The Gods of Pegana (1905) and Time and the Gods (1906), are set in. I also made it the setting for H.P. Lovecraft's The Doom That Came to Sarnath (1920), as it has a similar feel. I named the continent after an unexplained word used in Robert W. Chambers' The King in Yellow (1895). In case this shrinks down too much in the upload, there's another version here: cdn3.artstation.com/p/assets/i…

Dunsany doesn't often use a location more than once, and there are a lot of lands and cities described or mentioned, so it was difficult placing everything. I might have made a few mistakes, so expect me to update this at some point.

The continent is about twice the size of real-life Africa.

It’s located to the East of the Edge of the World (the mass of land that surrounds Terra Cognita, or the Lands We Know).

I have only recently started really getting into Lord Dunsany's work so forgive me if this is a stupid question. Is Pegana (and its various locations) supposed to be a part of Earth or located in a Dreamlands-like alternate dimension from our own? Or maybe both exist in that universe?
